Staff Spotlight: Tapteal Elementary's Amy Kohn

When the opportunity arose last spring for Amy Kohn to join Richland School District, she leaped at the possibility of joining schools where she'd long admired the educators.

“Whenever I worked with teachers or school administrators from Richland schools throughout my career, I was always so impressed,” Ms. Kohn says.

She is the new assistant principal at Tapteal Elementary and excited to be a part of the school as it waits to move into its new building and start the next chapter in its long history. And she couldn’t have asked for a better staff to join for the journey.

“Everyone at Tapteal models what I had long believed about the staff in Richland schools,” Ms. Kohn says.
